We pride ourselves on the positive attitude we bring to these projects and our adaptability to make any project work to meet your goals. If needed, we work closely with Engineers and Contractors to ensure there are as few unexpected bumps in the road as possible.

Our ideal project is a sustainably minded, high performance 800sq ft ADU (Alternative Dwelling Unit.) Working on small sustainable residential projects is our specialty. Having experience working dozens of house ranging from the 600 square foot Electric Birdhouse, to the 4,000 square foot beach houses with wine cellars that hold thousands of bottle, we a wide range of experience in how to do residential buildings at any price level. We prefer not to work on projects over 2,000 square feet, as those projects can be more intensive than our workload can provide, but are happy to work to get your ideas down, and have many friends in the area that love to work on exactly those projects. Consulting and Planning

Having worked heavily with both the City of Eugene and the Lane County Building Department over the past 8 years, we have developed a deep understanding of the process of getting things permitted and built within the jurisdiction. This can be everything from code compliance cases, to helping guide the process of subdividing a lot for Middle Housing. We also provide sustainability, and interior design consulting services upon request. Some common needs are:

Buildings aren’t the only things we know how to build. If you want a thing, we can probably tell you how to build it in several ways. We offer some of the best shop drawings in the industry to help bring ideas to reality. We also offer small scale fabrications as they are great little design challenges that are usually a bit different pace from debating code or drawing buildings. Services include:
